The annual revenge day at Springs Country Club was a huge success on Saturday and Koos Erasmus, the manager, really had it in for the golfers with some funny tee placings and pin placings.

All had a very good fun day.

Deon Beck took first place with 38 points, with Gawie Greeff coming in close second place at 38 points as well.

In third place was Jose Carrazon, coming in with 37 points.

Willie de Bruin played his best hand on Saturday afternoon at the Springs Country Club.

Connie Wiid was fourth with 37 points, and Deon Kotze was fifth with 35 points.

Prizes were handed out up to 30th place.

On Saturday, Over 50s will play against Under 50s.

“This year we will be again playing the challenge in the Ryder Cup format, we are expecting a closely contested match.

“The overs will want to regain the trophy that the Unders captured in 2018.

“Please contact the captains – Juan Greyling (Over 50s) and Gawie Greeff (Under 50s),” explain Deon Kotze, president of the club.

The entry list for Club Championships for March 2 and 3 is on the notice board.

Any players interested in playing in the Super 12 should contact tournament organiser Gawie Greeff on 083 282 6753 as soon as possible.
