Springs Country Club hosts IPS competition

Despite the colder temperatures, Springs residents are still eager to take to the course and demonstrate their golfing skills.

Springs Country Club held an IPS competition last weekend.

The results are as follows:

Winner: Jose Carrazon – 39 points

Second: Jan Els – 38 points

Third: Henry Stokes – 37 points

Fourth: Frans Ferreira – 37 points

Fifth: Pieter van der Merwe – 37 points

Saturday saw the final of the Singles Knockout contested between Koos Erasmus and Deon Kotze over 36 holes.

The battle went on to the 35th hole, where Deon beat Koos two to one.
