Bowling tournament comes to an end

The Springs Town Spring Fever Bowling tournament came to an end on Wednesday afternoon at Springs Town Bowling Club.
The bowlers gave it their all in the final games and the competition proved to be intense.
Bowlers from Boksburg Bowling Club Alan Elson, Alf Nelson and John Melitchey all triumphed to finish in first place.

Springs Town Bowling Club came out to clinch a narrow second place, with Willem Viljoen, Tersia Viljoen and Mybert Visser being the stand-out bowlers.
Twenty-two teams from all over the East Rand, including Delmas and Heidelberg, took part in the tournament, with hundreds of bowlers enjoying the outing.
