Victory for Old Boys women’s bowling team

Most importantly, Springs Old Boys dominated Kempton Park 37 points to four points.

The much anticipated Ladies League went underway at the Springs Old Boys Bowling Club on Saturday afternoon.

The women played under sweltering conditions, but wore plenty of sunscreen and hats to protect them from the sun.

Six teams, namely Springs Old Boys, Kempton Park, Benoni Lake, Avian, Brakpan Lions and Northmead, battled it out under the summer sun to prove they were the best team on the East Rand.
