Competition was close on Saturday afternoon when women from all over the East Rand took to the fields of Springs Town Bowling Club for the Ladies Premier Division.

The women took to the field at 2pm and were eager to get their games underway.

After a long afternoon of playing, Benoni Country Club beat Boksburg Bowling club, Benoni Lake beat Springs Town Bowling Club and Alberton won against Northmead Bowling Club.

Although competition was close, the women played respectfully and seemed eager to catch up with old friends.
