Club champs at Pollak Park draws women golfers

In the A Division Evan Mackenzie won with 157 points, followed by JC van Vuuren with 160.

The Best Nett was achieved by Grant Cockeran with 144 points.

Charl Stoop conquered the Best Gross on Saturday with 80 points, with Tiaan Bronkhorst taking it on Sunday with 75 points.

On Saturday Byron Syman took the Best Nett with 74 points nett and Ross McAllister got it on Sunday with 70 points.

In the B Division Okkie Strydom took the top spot with 168 points.

Gerrie Sadler takes a calculated putt to conclude his game.

On his tail was Harry Venter with 169 points and Tebogo Ndovu won Best Nett with 146 points.

On Saturday Makhosini Mnculwani took Best Gross with 87 points, while Chadwick Madalane achieved Best Nett for Sunday with 74 points.

Best Gross on Sunday went to Schalk Bloem with 82 points.

And Josiah Sishanga scared Best Nett with 73 points, oco on Sunday.

Dennis Williams became the winner of C Division with 78 points.

And Gerhard Gibson was right behind him with 76 points.

The Best Stableford on Saturday went to Eddie Browning with 39 points, and to Dries Beukes on Sunday with 40 points.

The runner-up spot was occupied by Ronald de Beer with 38 points on Saturday and Johan Beytell with 37 points on Sunday.

Nickey Minnaar achieved the Nearest Pin at number 6 on Saturday and on Sunday Marius Krause took it at number 13.

Marco Barresi plays his last shot for the competition at the Pollak Park Golf Club.

In the women’s competition Anika van der Berg took the winning spot with 167 points.

The runner-up was Merlene Nel was with 190 points gross.

Lemè Stander scored 151 points Nett.

In the Stableford Adele du Plessis led with 64 points, followed by Gerda Jacobsohn with 59 points.

Leane Phillips achieved 31 points, and Lucinde Strydom scored 25 points.
