Secunda firm as a wall against KWV
KWV's two tries, that added to the winning score, were both pushed by their hookers, Vernon du Preez and Stanley Peacock.
The KWV Springs first team brought their A game in their battle against Secunda at Olympia Park Stadium on Saturday.
A penalty goal right at the end of the match got Springs ahead.
Their fullback, André Smith, seized the chance and his penalty shot squeezed Springs into the win with 17-14.

However, it was not a match characterised by ease as the visitors fought every chance at goal.
Janu du Toit was almost over the line twice, but they stopped him.
The lock DandrĂ© Brand, who played in Secunda’s colours last year, was appointed as the Player of the Match.
