Boksburg bowlers wins Springs Fever Trips competition

Mybert Visser, Willem Viljoen and Johan Hughes from the Springs Town Bowling club were runners-up in the competition.

The final of the hotly contested Springs Fever Trips competition took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Springs Town Bowling Club.
The competition was played over five weeks and bowlers from all across the East Rand battled it out for glory.

Bowlers from the Boksburg Bowling Club came out tops and the winners were John Melitchey, Alf Nelson and Roy Turton.

John Melitchey, Alf Nelson and Roy Turton secured victory for the Boksburg Bowling Club. Springs Town Bowling Club chairperson Willem Viljoen (back) is grateful to all the clubs who competed.
