SK Cellular crowned SPL T20 champions
The ZTC Springs Premier League (SPL) T20 Winter Knockout Tournament Edition 3 reached its finale on Sunday at the Springs Old Boys (SOB).
SK Cellular were crowned champions of the ZTC Springs Premier League (SPL) T20 Winter Knockout Tournament Edition 3 after defeating Makhor Glenvista by 24 runs in Sunday’s final at a well-supported Springs Old Boys (SOB).
Makhor Glenvista won the toss and elected to field first. SK Cellular scored 174/5 in 20 overs.
The top batters for SK Cellular were Faizal Khalia (85*) and Aldre Huizers (32).

The top bowler for SK Cellular was Waseem Patel with four overs, 40 runs, and three wickets.
Markhor Glenvista scored 150/6 in 20 overs.
The top batters for Markhor Glenvista were Ashish Bhujadi (64*) and Abdullah Patel (53*).
The top bowler for Markhor Glenvista was Ashish Bhujadi, who took 42/2 in four overs.
Faizal Khalia was titled the man of the match and man of the series.

Event organiser Javid Patel proclaimed the team’s excitement over a successful tournament.
“The past weeks have been very challenging, but we are grateful that everything went well,” said Patel.
“Thank you to all our players who showed off their skills on the ground and our supporters who stood and attended all our games.”
