KWF Springs karatekas excel at Junior SA Championship

Thirteen karatekas from KWF Springs delivered impressive results at2026 KWF Junior SA championship in Johannesburg, showcasing skill across all belt divisions.

Thirteen members from KWF Springs Karate Club on Ermelo Road in Casseldale recently participated in the 2026 Junior Championship at the Portuguese Hall in Johannesburg.

All KWF clubs in South Africa and Zimbabwe participated in the championship.

“I am very proud of everyone who participated; they did very well. Everyone enjoyed the championship,” said sensei Fanie du Plessis.

Results for novice, white and yellow belts:
*Amoré Grobler: bronze for kata

Results for intermediate, orange and green belts:
*Gosiame Mashigo: bronze in kata
*Sibahle Siluma: bronze in kata

Results for advanced, blue and purple belts:
*Bryan Kapp: silver for Kihon Ippon Kumite

Results for open, red and black belts:
*Jazmin Conradie: bronze for kata
