Kofifi dancers at the Wheels and Wings Show
After they flew to China few months ago , the Cancer City Casting Kofifi Dance Group will be entertaining the crowd at the Springs Advertiser and African Reporter Wheels and Wings Show.
The group, originating from Bluegumview in Duduza, has young and talented members between 12 and 28 years old.
The group’s managing director and the choreographer,Solly Malebana says their love for dancing was inspired by an escalating number of criminal activities that young people get involved in and their door to escape from such behaviour was to keep themselves busy at all times.
Last year, the group competed on one of the biggest TV talent search shows “South Africa’s Got Talent”.
Not winning the competition’s grand prize did not demotivate the group as they kept pushing and doing what they love best.
The group was one of the groups that auditioned for the opportunity to showcase their talent on a Global Gala Spring Festival in China.
To meet this bunch of the young and talented entertainers,be at this year’s Wheels and Wings Show to be held at the Springs Airfield on August 2.
