Members from Selection Park Tennis Club had a convincing win in their second match of this season, in the league competition, when they beat Atlasville on Saturday.
The second team came out strong against Atlasville, with Michelle Kent, Linda Knoetze, Elsa Labuschagne, Colleen Faursett, Gary Mons, Ernst de Wet, Herman Schmulian and Duncan Gall all winning their matches.
They beat Atlasville 135-37, with straight forward matches.
Michelle, the captain of the second team, says: “they were feeding them carrots.”
She is proud of her team’s achievements so far.
The first team players are Sandy Kock, Julian Perreira, Claire Gosse, Kyla Yelverton, Jonathan Reed, Eben Maré, Rynhardt Knoetze and Peter Stoltz.
They also beat the Atlasville first team 112-64.
