Legends of R&B announces new dates
Legends of R&B Volume 2 have announced March 24 and 25 next year as the new dates for the Montecasino venue.
All previously purchased ticket seats will remain the same for the new dates, however, ticket holders will need to visit a Computicket branch to pick up newly issued tickets.
The concert is presented by Hot 91-9, Mzansi Magic Music and Channel 24, and will feature The Whispers, The Stylistics and Lenny Williams.
The Whispers is a well-known soul vocal group famous for their smooth ballads and have been leading the R&B music industry for over 50 years with their unique mix of pop, disco, jazz and R&B.
With 33 Top 10 hits, 20 billboard charted albums and many movie soundtrack features, the group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
Known for their sweet love songs, The Stylistics were formed in Philadelphia in 1966 by merging two other groups.
They quickly became a household name with hits such as You’re A Big Girl Now, Stop Look Listen to your Heart, You are Everything and Betcha By Golly Wow.
These artists will be sharing the stage with one of the most influential artists in R&B, Lenny Williams.
Lenny has performed with legends such as Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, K-Jon, Al Green, Usher, Anthony Hamilton and Rick James.
