All roads lead to the Caravela festival

The Caravela Portuguese Festival, celebrating the magic of Madeira, will be held at Montecasino from June 30 to July 2.

Promoted by the Portuguese Forum of South Africa, the Caravela Portuguese Festival promises to be a celebration of the rich and diverse history and culture of Portuguese speaking people from all walks of life.

You can expect non-stop, eat-till-you-pop, dance-till-you-drop food and entertainment for the entire family with DJs Paul Almeida, Vin Deysel and Mark Pilgrim, as well as The Parlotones, Prime Circle and Locnville.

The festival is open on June 30 and July 1 from 10am to 11pm and from 10am to 8pm on July 2.
