Fun at Selpark CPF morning tea

Women present at the Selpark CPF morning tea say it was a morning well spent.

Patsy Taljaard from the CPF organised the event, but fell ill and had to hand over the reins to her sister Wimpie Beets.

Wimpie says the event was opened with prayer followed by praise and worship by the Arc Band.

“With several guests entertaining the guests, there wasn’t a dull moment,” she says.

Pastor Kobus Blomerus’ wife Melanie Blomerus was the guest speaker, and spoke about the pain and suffering of losing someone close to you.

There was a raffle and several people won either vouchers donated by the stall-holders or a special treat as a gift.

Wimpie says there were more than enough gifts to hand out during the raffle.

The morning ended on a high note when Melanie Naude (13) performed a few hip-hop dance sessions.

Wimpie handed over a gift and flowers to Patsy to thank her for organising the event.
