• A Mother’s Day tea will be held at the Dutch Reformed Church Springs, 1 Sackville Street, Casseldale. The tea starts at 9am and some of the women will have the opportunity to share their stories on mother and daughter relationships. • Friends of Suikerbosrand will hold a screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power at Suikerbosrand at 9.30am. This is a follow-on to the 2006 film An Inconvenient Truth and is about former US vice-president Al Gore’s mission to battle climate change. • Auditions for the Sound of Musicals will be held at the Nederduitsch Hervormde Kerk Benoryn, corner of Struben and De Mist streets, Rynfield, Benoni at 10am.
