June 1
• Ka-ttitude and Springs Central Air Scouts are having a bingo evening at the Pollak Park Golf Club starting at 6.30pm for 7pm. Ticket price includes a meal and eight bingo tickets. June 2
• Selpark CPF will hold a 5km walk/run for the whole family. Enter the Selcourt Enclosure at the main boom gate. Registration begins at 9am and the walk starts at 9.30am. June 9
• Christian Family Church Eden Encounters Springs will host its first birthday celebration in the Springs Secondary School hall at 67 Honeysuckle Drive, Bakerton, from 4pm. Contact Pastor Sandy Rajpal on 061 005 5497.
June 16
• Youth Day will be celebrated at Palm Springs. The centre management is inviting all young budding entrepreneurs to set up their product/service or idea as a way of showcasing their offerings. There is no cost to exhibit but bookings are essential. Contact Carolynn Weedon on 0824433213
• The Avenues will be hosting a Father’s Day event from 10am to noon. Come and have fun making that special sweet sensation for Dad. June 17
