Rockmania kicks off winter racing at the Rock Raceway
The cold has arrived and it is time for winter sports to get into full swing.
For petrolheads, Rockmania is a perfect way to kick off winter motorsport activities. The Rock Raceway circuit in Brakpan will host a variety of high octane oval track racing on July 14 as all the favourite racing drivers hotfoot around the 400m circuit in various disciplines.
Oval drivers will make use of this event to prep for the Big Speed Weekend coming up in August at the Rock.
Drifters will also take to the circuit and demonstrate their drifting skills and patrons will also get an opportunity to ride shotgun with the drifters in the suicide rides provided by the drifters.

R100 suicide ride tickets can be bought for the rides at the venue.
A host of Oval classes will also be racing, including the 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Hot Rods, 2L Hotrods and Super Saloons.
Open wheelers will include the Ninja Karts, 125 Karts and Midgets.
High-speed action from the Formula N circuit cars will keep you riveted to your seats as the saloon car drivers jostle for positions around the tricky race circuit.
With plenty of chicanes and tight corners passing each other can be hair-raising at the best of times but very entertaining for the crowds none the less.
Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 3pm.
