Three brothers, including Willie Smuts, have been invited to go to Turkey in May to compete in the Mr Teen World pageant.
Their mother, Marycke Smuts, has been trying to raise funds for them.
“Fund-raising is going really slow and we are now aiming to send at least one boy.
“We are hosting a golf day on March 29 at the Springs Country Club.
“Should the funds raised be enough, Willie will go to Turkey.”
The boys competed at Mr Posh SA 2019, a national pageant, where Tian was the second prince, Jeandré first prince and Willie the winner.
Willie has also qualified as a finalist for Mr Jnr SA 2019 and has competed from March 19 to 23.
This will be the 20th year a Mr Jnr SA will be crowned.

He also stands a chance to win Face of South Africa 2019.
This is a competition where the public gets to vote via SMS for him to win the title.
Each SMS costs R2 and you can vote by sending “MMPT002” to 47087.

“Willie has been working really hard in order to achieve his dream.
“We are aiming high this year and we want to bring both the title of Mr Jnr SA 2019 and Mr Jnr World 2019 home to Springs,” says Marycke.
