• The Bhairavi Sungum of Springs will once again hosts its high tea fund-raiser in celebration of Women’s Day at the Springs Secondary School Hall at 2pm. A special event for the women who will be spoiled with delicious treats, great entertainment, prizes and auctions to assist in raising funds. The social media sensation “Bash with Tash” will also entertain and add humor to the event. Entertainment will be provided by Arisha and Portia Khunoo and the Shringaar Dance Academy and Sureshni Rider will be the guest speaker. • The Eastern Gauteng Chamber of Commerce and Business Linkage Centre will offer their second monthly business-training workshop. The workshop will take place at the chamber offices at 21 Eighth Street in the Springs CBD at 9.30am. The theme for this month’s session is tendering and costing and only 20 people can be accommodated on a first-paid, first-served basis. The cost to attend is R50 and bookings and payment must be made at the chamber’s offices before the workshop. • Windy Corner Shellhole is having a mini Highland games day to raise funds. It will include a flea market, craft beer and jumping castle, followed by a dinner dance.
