Camping is not easy and is not for everyone and it is usually the little things that come to bug you the most.
Here are some things to keep in mind to prevent your camping trip from turning into a nightmare.

• Pack plenty of mosquito and other bug repellents.
• Pick a campsite wisely, stay away from dangerous areas or places that will be full of other campers.
• Bring earplugs – noisy neighbouring campers tend to ruin a good night’s sleep.
• Bring plenty of water.
• Bring plenty of entertainment, there won’t be Wi-Fi, so bring cards and board games.
• Bring your own lighting – a dark campsite is dangerous and someone is bound to fall and hurt themselves when going out at night.
