The perfect cruiser for urbanites

Urban Cruiser has achieved 900 sales per month since its release in March.

The result of the Toyota-Suzuki alliance and available in three grades Xi, Xs and Xr and with a starting price of R 255 300, it is no surprise that the Urban is so popular with consumers.

It features an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth, Aux and USB inputs so the younger generation, in particular, will not feel left out. The Toyota Connect telematics system which includes an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot and complimentary 15Gb data is included.

And with such vibrant, energetic and totally urban styling… feeling left out, is not an option…

“In Xs guise, the Urban Cruiser is equipped with black 16-inch alloy wheels (visually tying in with the black moulded trim and C-pillar garnish), creating a striking look. These are shod with 215-60-R16 tyres with a full-size spare wheel in the boot.”

Power comes from a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine delivering 77kW and 138Nm with a fuel index of 6.2 litres per 100km with the Xs offering either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox. ABS and EBD, driver and passenger airbags are standard.

Pricing includes a three-services/45 000km service plan and a three-year/100 000km warranty is also provided.
