Four members of Kishou Karate Academy have been selected for the JKS national team, where they will represent South Africa in Brazil this August. Sensei Charmian Esterhuizen, Katelyn Pretorius, Siyamthanda Gcanga and Shamika Pakkiri have made their community and families proud by earning this prestigious invitation.

“Your dedication, discipline, and countless hours of training have truly paid off. We are extremely proud of each of you for achieving this outstanding milestone,” Esterhuizen said.

She explained that at this stage, parents are still considering and confirming participation.

“We will keep everyone updated as decisions are made. No matter the outcome, this achievement already shows the strength, commitment, and spirit of our Kishou Karate family. Congratulations again, keep pushing forward and growing from strength to strength,” she said.
