Struisbult pageant queen shines in Mrs Supranational SA top 25
Struisbult’s Faith Chuma continues to make her community proud after securing a spot in the top 25 of the Mrs Supranational South Africa competition.
A pageant queen and former Mrs South African semi-finalist from Struisbult has once again made her community proud.
Earlier this year, Faith Chuma (39) was named a top 25 finalist of the Mrs Supranational South Africa Competition.
“Hearing my name announced was such a surreal and emotional moment. It felt like everything I’ve poured into this journey, every sacrifice, every prayer, every moment of doubt I had to push through, was finally being recognised,” Chuma said.
Looking back on her journey from Springs to the pageant stage, she said a defining moment was stepping out of her comfort zone and choosing to believe in herself.
“As a woman from Springs, I never imagined I would be standing on such a platform, but I made a decision to stop doubting my potential.
“That shift in mindset changed everything. It gave me the courage to show up boldly and unapologetically,” she said.

Chuma says that through her Mrs Supranational journey, she has remained authentic and resilient.
“My journey is real, my story is real, and I carry that with me in every interaction,” she said.
She also spoke about how she has been preparing mentally and physically for this level of competition.
“I’ve been focusing on self-belief, affirmations, and surrounding myself with positivity. I’ve learned the importance of protecting my energy and staying grounded.
“Physically, it’s been about consistency, taking care of my health, and ensuring I feel strong and confident in my body. It’s truly about balance,” she said.
Chuma detailed how she has faced challenges, including managing pressure and expectations.
“There are moments where self-doubt creeps in, but I’ve learned to silence that voice and remind myself why I started.

“I lean on my faith, my support system, and my purpose to keep going, even on the tough days,” she said.
She added that representing her community gives her a sense of pride.
“Representing Springs and South Africa is not just about me, it’s about every young girl who dares to dream beyond her circumstances. I want to be a symbol of hope and possibility, showing that where you come from does not limit where you can go.”
Her family and support system have been her backbone, providing her with emotional support and encouragement.
“To everyone back home, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love, your votes, your messages and your prayers mean more than I can put into words.
“I carry you with me in every step I take on this stage. This journey is ours, and together, we can go even further,” she said.
