Local boy electrocuted

A family in Hlanikahle Ext 3 is devastated after a tragedy that claimed the life of a 13-year old boy yesterday. On Boxing Day, December 26 Fatso Ntuli was electrocuted.

Fatso was on his way to a nearby shop when he allegedly stepped on an open electrical wire that lay across the road.

The wire lay in water after the Highveld Storm in the late afternoon.

One of Fatso’s friends ran home and told Fatso’s father his son ‘fell down’ in the road and could not get up.
The father rushed out and found his son lying lifeless on the ground. A paramedic certified Fatso dead at the scene.
An inquest docket is being investigated.
