Mr Abdullahi Omar was in hot water with one of his customers after he sold a 1,25 litre Lemon Twist bottle with cigarette butts in it. This follows after he purchased ten pallets of soft drinks at one of the city’s biggest wholesalers. Omar launched the complaint to Shanduka Beverages who tasked their Quality Department to investigate. Emalahleni side has asked for Johannesburg to intervene in further investigating the matter. “We have transferred the matter to Public Affairs who would be in contact with the client to keep him posted about the events,” said Sales Manager of Shanduka Beverages Mr Frans Maako.
