Golf Club burgled

The golf club was the target of organised burglaries over the festive season. The crime took place on December 19 and then again on December 29 when the Pro Shop was broken into as well.

The first incident was discovered by one of the golf club employees when they arrived at work the next day. Apparently they broke big holes in the office roof and gained entrance through the ceiling. The suspects stole stored alcohol and office equipment.

The next incident at the Pro Shop which is a golf shop on the premises happened when the suspects crudely threw a brick through the window of the door and got through the security gate.
In the first incident they managed to also disable the security system which means the armed response was never alerted to the incident and they purposefully hid their faces from the security camera. Some even turned around meaning they knew where to look.

The SAPS opened cases for both incidents and they are investigating the matter.
