“My daughter was only there five minutes then it happened, they must have been watching the house,” said Mr Andre du Plessis.
On January 4 two men stole Du Plessis’ red and white John Way 125 Gomoto from his home in Blanchville.
According to Du Plessis his daughter had stopped at the house to feed the dogs and cats, their Fox Terrier went mad so his daughter approached the window only to find two men in the yard, they had gained entry through the main gate and were busy pushing the motorcycle out of the yard.
“She was alone at home so she couldn’t go out to stop them,” he said.
The motorcycle is valued at R14 000, Du Plessis was still waiting for police to attend the scene at time of print.
A day prior to the theft of Du Plessis’ motorcycle there had been a report of another motor cycle theft, this time in Reyno Ridge.
While working in Musina, Mr Rhyno Wilters received a call from his girlfriend on the morning of January 4, she explained that his motor cycle a red Honda CBF 125 had been stolen from their yard, the motor cycle is valued at R25 000.
Wilters was unavailable for comment regarding the theft of his motorcycle.
