A vehicle was pushed up against a street light pole as the two cars collided in an intersection.

A vehicle was pushed up against a street light pole as the two cars collided in an intersection.
The accident occurred on Tuesday evening, June 28 at approximately 20:00 at the Watermeyer Street split.
Both drivers were checked by emergency services for injuries and were able to go home.

A maroon Volkswagen Polo and silver Toyota were involved in an accident on Tuesday June 28 in Watermeyer Street.
Mr Zindla Mandla, the driver of the maroon Volkswagen Polo, alleged that he was waiting at the robot by the split in Watermeyer Street to go towards Klipfontein area. While Mr Eddie Mzimba was travelling in the same street towards Del Judor.
“I was at the robot and at that stage it was red, then it turned green another vehicle that was on my left hand side pulled off, then out of nowhere the other vehicle went over the red robot, the vehicle that was on my left hand side swerved and that is when he hit me,” said Mandla.
