Driver killed in collision
The bakkie was on its way to Maputo, they travelled to Johannesburg where they collected supplies which they needed to take back to Mozambique.

A bakkie that pulled off to the side of the road was hit by a truck and due to the impact the driver was killed.
Early on Thursday, July 7 a white bakkie fully packed with various items and four occupants inside pulled off to the side of the road on the N12 highway.

A bakkie and a truck were involved in an accident on the N12 highway early on Thursday morning, July 7.
The bakkie was on its way to Maputo, they travelled to Johannesburg where they collected supplies which they needed to take back to Mozambique.
While the bakkie was stationary in the yellow lane, a truck travelling in the same direction collided into the back of the bakkie.
After the collision all the items on the back of the bakkie were strewn all over the highway.
The passenger, a woman and a child did not sustained any injuries in the collision.

Paramedics from ER24 and Langamed Emergency Services did Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the driver of the bakkie.
The driver was pulled out of the vehicle, where paramedics started Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Once he was stabilised he was transported to Witbank Provincial Hospital, where he later died.
