This past week Witbank Police found plenty of drugs all over eMalahleni.
With the SAPS sweeping the streets clean from all sorts of illegal substances they found themselves some random places to search.

In one of the incidents, while the police were on duty a man in a Silver Audi was spotted doing an exchange from out of his car window. The men in blue quickly blocked the vehicle and there was no escape for the suspect.

With great suspicion the police searched both the suspect and his vehicle. What they found was nothing new but where they found it was something else.

The man was arrested on charge of dealing drugs as the police found two plastic bags containing cat powder in the suspect’s socks.

In other incidents regarding drugs the police had their hands full in the busy streets of the CBD (Central Business District). They arrested two suspicious looking pedestrians on charge of the possession of dagga and the drug known as rocks with the street value of R3 000.

Witbank Police spokesperson, Capt Eddie Hall said that no drugs or the dealing of drugs will be tolerated in eMalahleni.
