The Witbank SAPS in cooperation with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) members arrested 67 suspects this past week which included 22 drunk and driving.
Eight people were caught for shoplifting; six for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, 16 were arrested for general theft, 10 for assault and 11 for possession and dealing in drugs.
Five people were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property, two for malicious damage to property, four for domestic violence, four illegal immigrants were arrested, one person in cuffs for intimidation, two for contravening of protection order, three for fraud, two arrested for a business burglary, one for pointing of firearm, one for armed robbery and one for driving a motor vehicle without owners consent.
