
You can run but you cannot hide from the law, this follows after a man was sent behind bars for six years.
On Thursday, July 4 Mr Steven Velly Masango faced the music and was found guilty of fraud at the Witbank Magistrate Court.
Masango remained in custody for 13 months receiving no bail leading to his sentencing.
The 31 year old was arrested on June 11, 2015 after producing false documentation for financing a vehicle.
He aimed to buy a Mercedes Benz ML 350 Blutec 2015 at Witbank McCarthy Kunene with a value close to R1 million.
In addition to his sentence he was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
When contacted for comment Witbank McCarthy Kunene stated that they could not discuss the matter as the person who worked in the finance department that dealt with the matter was no longer in their employment.
