When a security guard arrived for duty, he never thought that the night shift would turn into a nightmare.

When a security guard arrived for duty, he never thought that the night shift would turn into a nightmare.
Mr Remigio Kugara arrived for duty on Sunday, July 17 at 17:00 at Ludeke Transport which is situated on the Old Middelburg Road.

At around 23:45 Kugara alleged that he was patrolling the perimeter of the yard, when he got to the area where the containers are stored, he noticed that one of the containers were broken.
So he went to see what had happened to the container, while making his way over, five unknown suspects stormed out from the container.

One of the five suspects was armed with a firearm; Kugara was instructed to hand over his firearm.

“I kept on telling them that I never had a firearm, so they started searching me,” said Kugara.

As the suspects searched him, they took both of his cell phones, and then they took him to the back of the container where he was tied up.

Four of the suspects left and one stayed to guard Kugara.
The suspect who was guarding him offered if he got cold that he would take me inside the container.
More than an hour passed as they sat there together, then all of a sudden the suspect got up and left.

Kugara gave it a few more minutes then he stood up to see what was going on as he never heard any more voices on the property.

He then checked and noticed that eight truck tyres were stolen.
A case of business robbery was opened at Witbank Police Station.
