In another accident that occurred on Monday, August 8 on the corner of Hans Strydom Avenue and OR Tambo Street, a maroon Almera, a white Volkswagen Polo and a maroon Jeep Compass were involved in an accident.

“While I was travelling down OR Tambo and wanted to turn right into Hans Strydom Avenue. As I stopped at the robot, a bakkie from the opposite direction indicated to turn right in Hans Strydom Avenue. He got half way through the intersection then stopped, while the white Polo then decided to go right around the bakkie to turn right, when the Polo popped out the other side of the bakkie, the maroon Jeep collided into him. With the momentum the cars collided into the stationary Nissan Almera who was parked at the robot,” said an eyewitness that was on scene.
