
A business robbery took place at Nova Motors in which an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the cash tills.
Late Saturday evening, September 17 two men entered the business, one walked over to the newspaper stand while the other headed to the fridges.
“The man came back from the fridge and wanted to a buy a 2L coke, he handed me a R20 note but I told him it was R21. He then reached into his pocket and drew a gun on me,” said one of the cashiers.
The robber ordered everyone in the store to lie down, while the other robber at the newspaper stand drew a knife and also started to threaten attendants.

Police are looking for these two suspects wanted for the alleged robbery at Nova Motors on September 17.
The man armed with the firearm walked around the counter and told the cashiers to open the tills, they then looted the tills and ran off leaving the employees unharmed.
“I thought he was going to reach for some change, at least no one was hurt. They ran off in the direction of Eskom,” said the cashier.
