Churches marching together on Palm Sunday

Different churches took to the streets to celebrate Palm Sunday.

Worshippers carrying palm branches marches through the streets of Ackerville together to show unity.

The march was held on Sunday, April 14 commemorating Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and the start of churches’ most solemn week, which includes the Good Friday re-enactment of Jesus’ crucifixion and death and his resurrection on Easter.

After some readings from the different church leaders and the blessings of the palms, they marched singing along the streets going to their different churches.

Even last year a similar march was held to show unity.
