Puseletso to step up in tennis world

As a grade three pupil it was obvious that she was a keen and positive young girl with lots of enthusiasm and a great attitude.

In 2009 Puseletso Mampho joined the tennis coaching programme of Charl Basson School of Tennis that was presented at Greendale School.

As a grade three pupil it was obvious that she was a keen and positive young girl with lots of enthusiasm and a great attitude.

She worked on her skills from week to week and never gave up in the difficult times.

At age 12 she got chosen to represent the Western Mpumalanga Junior tennis side that won the annual Mpumalanga junior inter-districts tournament.

At the end of her primary school career she obtained a scholarship from Curro Bankenveld for her achievements.

During her high school years she maintained a consistent performance and progress where she consistently got chosen for Mpumalanga provincial sides.

In 2018 she matriculated from Curro Bankenveld.

Puseletso wants to become a teacher and she started her studies in January of this year.

She got some further good news recently from Tennis South Africa.

She was identified for the BNP Paribas Coaches Mentorship Programme.

The programme’s main objective is to support aspiring coaches, wanting to attend coaching courses and receive a coaching certification. Puseletso dreams of making a difference in her community where she grew up in Vosman.

Charl, her mentor and coach for the last 10 years, is very proud of what Puseletso overcame and achieved in her young career.
