Pre-school police station orientation and education on child abuse

Pre-school children from the Maranata Pre-School in KwaGuqa Extension 11 paid a visit to the Vosman Police Station on an education tour.

The children visited the police station on Thursday, August 15 and there were 74 children in total together with their three teachers.

The children were educated about the police station and also visited the victim friendly facility as it is a friendly room for victims of crime where victims feel welcomed when at the police station.

The children were educated on children rights, child abuse and sexual offenses, according to Sergeant Kgomotso Maluleke, Vosman Police Station communicating officer.
