Dhiyaa quizzes her way up

Dhiyaa said she was shocked and never expected to win the competition

11-year-old Dhiyaa Osman attained overall national top score in the primary school section of the 2019 World Knowledge Olympiad.

She participated in the quiz at her school, Cambridge Academy, during the second term.

Dhiyaa said she was shocked and never expected to win the competition.

“I enjoy playing general knowledge quizzes on road trips with my older brother, so fun times can lead to success too.”

Dhiyaa’s register teacher at Cambridge Academy, Mrs Amelia Els said that the school are really proud of her.

“She is one of our best learners in Grade 5 and we are proud that she represented the school very well and no other words can describe the joy.”

As part of her winning, she received cash prizes and Takealot vouchers to enjoy.
