The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation is offering a reward to any person who can provide information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of Mhlabayaxega Mntungwa Khumalo (34).

Khumalo is alleged to be involved in the murder of Nkosinathi Ngcongo, a former general manager of Sam Holdings.  Two armed suspects shot and fatally wounded Ngcongo on 12 September 2019 whilst he was on duty at the depot in Bethal and fled the scene.

Investigations led to the arrest of Phindikuhle Eugen Nkosi (26) who is currently in custody.  His murder trial is expected to kick off tomorrow in the Bethal Magistrate Court.  Meanwhile, further investigations have linked Khumalo to the same incident. It is believed that he might be around Gauteng or Kwazulu-Natal.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the wanted persons is kindly urged to contact Captain Bongani Mdebuka on 0827824443 or Colonel Danie Hall on 071481 328, the SAPS on 08600 10111 or information may be communicated via the SAPS MySAPSApp. All information will be treated with the strictest confidence and callers may remain anonymous.
