Witbank Police Station appeared on the top 30 stations list in the country and took the seventh place yet again as in the previous year on the national crime statistics list.

Trio crimes which include carjacking, robbery at residential premises and robbery at non-residential premises had a 9.1% increase which places Witbank in the sixth position overall and Vosman at 26 with a 24.5% increase from the previous year.
A breakdown of each crime places Witbank at second for robbery at non-residential premises or business robbery.
Property-related crimes decreased with 9.4% leaving Witbank at number five on the list.
The worst is that eMalahleni is number one on the list in this country for burglary at residential premises, even with an 8.1% decrease from the previous year with 1 252 cases reported and is on the sixth position for burglary at non-residential premises with 391 cases reported.
Theft of motor vehicles decreased with 4.2% with 366 cases reported.
