Vosman mother did not intend to poison children

A note was found wherein the woman asked her family to take care of her children

An unfortunate turn of events led to the death of the two children in Vosman.

The children, a girl aged six and a boy aged 11, was not intentionally poisoned by their 49-year-old mother.

“Information suggests that the woman ate chicken allegedly sprinkled with rat poison and left some pieces of the chicken and went into another room. The children noticed the leftover chicken and ate it,” said Vosman police spokesperson Capt Elizabeth Mkaudi.

They were found by their brother who rushed them to the local clinic where they were certified died.
