Second croc caught close to eMalahleni

The second crocodile In the Zaaihoek/Leeuwpoort was caught this afternoon.

Local snake catcher Mr Piet Wassenaar measured the crocodile at 1.6m.

“I am not sure if this one is a male or female, but by looking at the way it snaps at me I am sure she is a female,” Piet said.

Residents are warned to be extra vigilant close do dams and streams in the Zaaihoek and Leeuwpoort areas.

The Mpumalanga Tourist and Park Agencies are busy with an investigation to establish where the crocs come from

Piet said they are aware of about seven crocs in that specific area.
