Awareness campaign for law enforcement employees

The law enforcement workers responded well to the event and also got a complementary gift from the wellness campaign.

The law enforcement wellness office hosted a wellness and rehabilitation campaign for former Mkhonto Wesizwe law enforcement workers. The campaign was held at the Witbank Dam. The aim of the event was to rehabilitate them as those who were affected financially and emotionally.

“This campaign aims to help the workers who were a part of Mkonto Wesizwe, who had to leave their families to face the racial issues that our country faced at that time,” Thandi Mahlangu says.

The event was a success as the law enforcement workers were given encouragement and were rehabilitated. They were given tips on how to deal with trauma and also learn more about finances. The law enforcement workers responded well to the event and also got a complementary gift from the wellness campaign.
