Shooting day was a big success

Guns blazing in support of Moth Cottages

The Memorable Order of Tin Hats (Moth) Shooting Day has been held for many years on Youth Day.

On Wednesday, June 16 another successful day of shooting took place to raise funds in support of the Moth Cottages.

Last year this special shooting day could not have taken place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Locals came out in numbers this year and competed against each other in different shooting categories.

The winners are:

Corné Krafft (.22 gun), Kokkie Smit (handgun), Derrick Deysel (military rifle); Riaan Botha, Nico Botha, and Nicolas Daniel (shotgun). The ‘Last Man Standing’ winner was Francois Jonker.
