Please refrain from discharging fireworks

Fireworks have been banned and anyone found discharging them will be guilty of an offence and will be prosecuted

The Emalahleni Local Municipality has taken a tough stance against people who discharge fireworks.
Fireworks have been banned and anyone found discharging them will be guilty of an offence and will be prosecuted.
The municipality’s Fire Brigade Services will be on the alert during this festive season as some residents tend to randomly discharge fireworks with no sense that they could cause a fire, unbearable noise and injuries.
Members of the public should alert the Fire Brigade regarding fireworks complaints on 013 690 6222/333/444
