Robber counts to five then start shooting
The robber started shooting through the window.
To find yourself in a position where someone is shooting at you is one of the worst experiences you can ever imagine.
This is what happened to Mr Laurence Dlamini and a colleague on Friday, January 14.
The two men were woken by a knock on the door at Dlamini’s house in Klarinet.
There was a man at the door who demanded the car keys.
“He counted up to five then started shooting through the window. This shocked me as I didn’t think he had a gun. I lay on the floor, then jumped up and ran to where I put my keys and threw them through the window. By then he had shot about seven times,” said Dlamini.
The bullets missed Dlamini, but unfortunately, his colleague was injured. He was taken to the hospital for further care and discharged on Saturday morning.
“We were left traumatized. I haven’t been to the house since the incident happened,” Dlamini added.
The suspects also took cell phones along with the car. No arrests have been made thus far. The investigation is underway.
