Bakkie rolled on N12 highway claiming one life

A family travelling home to Ogies was involved in a tragic accident, claiming the life of one family member.
The accident happened on Saturday afternoon, February 5 just before 13:00 on the N12 highway.
The family were travelling home to Ogies in a white bakkie when the bakkie rolled.
It’s unclear what caused the bakkie to roll.
The vehicle came to a stop on the opposite side of the highway.
A baby was rushed to the hospital by a motorist that stopped first on the scene.
The second motorist that stopped on the scene helped the other three family members.
A family member succumbed to her injuries on the scene.
The other three family members were taken by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.
