Community members protest due to shooting in CBD
Man shot in front of his wife and child outside supermarket.

A senseless murder took place earlier this week that sent shock waves through the city.
On Monday, February 28 a shooting incident occurred outside Weng Family Supermarket in the Central Business District (CBD).
It’s alleged that an altercation occurred inside the shop.
When the family walked out a security guard allegedly shot the husband at point-blank.
The case is still being investigated by the police.
Since the incident occurred, angry community members have been protesting.
Group of protestors want their voices heard

On Tuesday, March 1 a large group gathered and marched in between Emalahleni City Council and Weng Family Supermarket.
This was done to have their voices heard to close down all foreign national shops.
